Well the other day I stopped to fuel and unfortunately all pumps were occupied. So I got behind a prime truck and driver wasn’t fueling. So I approached his truck and he can walking up. I asked if he was fueling and he said yes he had to crap. Now if one needs to take a crap find a parking spot. Pulling forward is for taking a leak only. And after de finished he pulled forward with nozzle still in pump and ripped hose off. I knocked on door and his girlfriend I’m guessing answered and I pointed at tank. He was filling reefer on other side. You don’t
crap at the pump and don’t rip off pump. He wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.

I guess we all make our mistakes when we first start but I never ripped off a pump or took a dump with my truck still at the pump.

Back when I started in the mid 90s, all of the Prime trucks drove like that. Hammer lane and hammer down. All the time.

They still do. The only difference now is they don’t go above 54 mph.

Wait to go rook you saw someone having a bad day and then had the presence of mind to document it. Those fuel hoses have a breakaway connection and after you have been around a while you will understand getting out of the truck and then getting a serious gut rumble does happen.
