What’s this nonsense about pulling around? Be a super trucker and just let it sit on the scale while you go in. If someone comes up behind you just put your 4-ways on.

They mean all the info has been entered. CAT scales do not display the weight. It is only after the ticket prints does the weighmaster (Truck stop employee) know the actual weights.

“You’re good” means that they have your weight and you can pull off the scale, park, and go inside to pay and get your scale ticket. They won’t tell you the axle weights until you’ve paid for it.

As for the re-weigh, if you do it within two hours it’s only $2 but after that you have to pay full price for a new weigh. That’s to prevent local guys from scaling multiple loads a day on the same ticket.

First and foremost when they said your good that meant they have you weighed. Yes they are a certified weighmaster which means I know to push these buttons in this sequence.

It's your job to decide what if anything needs moved. If they told me how much my axles were before I paid I would never buy a scale ticket

When you go to a drive through window, the guy will take your money or debit card first before they hand over the food. Its the same thing with scales. They want your money before they give you the info.

Because you have not paid for it yet.

You do not get the information until you get the scale ticket, which is after you pay for it.

your good for more than 2 hrs for a reweigh. I've had to drive and wait 3hrs to be reworked then reweigh. only $2. total time was about 4 or more hrs.

And at least in one case (me, 2 years ago, loves somewhere out west) they made me pay full price cause 1st weigh was day 1 at 11 pm, weigh 2 was 2 am the next day...., So mebbe not 24 hrs but for remainder of calendar day?

Not sure. I have scaled say 1pm. Next day 9am. 2.00 reweigh. Tried another scale once and had no reweigh 2.00. Had to pony up another full price.

Bean Jr. and Trucker61016 Thank this.
