Scheduling endorsement tests TX

    Good Morning,

    I looked at the TX DPS website yesterday and they're scheduling appointments - the next one is August(!).

    Does anyone have any advice for how to test for a couple of endorsements quicker?

    Has anyone tested during the lockdown? I would think the commercial side would be slightly different than regular business - I can't even find a testing-specific link to follow or schedule.

    I know this is vague - thanks for your time.

    you need to check different locations. I moved to TX last October. I had to look at different locations to get my license transferred over. Some where 2 months out. I found one just 2 weeks out.

    Kind of depends on what county you are dealing with. Guadalupe county never skipped a beat through this whole mess. Nothing shut down. Bexar county was a clown show everyone working in a goverment office stayed home.

    What part of Texas are you in? Look to more rural testing sites for appointments. Going to take patience on the computer to finally find a location.
