Hi. I'm both new to this forum and new to trucking in general. I recently took the DMV tests for School Bus, Passenger and Tanker. I would like to get my S and P endorsements just to have them. I've read that most schools offer free ELDT training, but every school I talk to says I must plan to work for them. Im not sure if I want to do that at the moment, but I DO want the endorsement in my arsenal. Any advice?

I don't know anyone that's going to pay for you to get a CDL and not expect some labor in return. No such thing as a free ride (pun intended).

Well according to Google, the Kentucky Department of Education (where I live) offers free driver training.

Sounds like you should apply. Be sure to come back and update us once you get to read the fine print.

I have... at two places, and they turned me down because of my vision. But ######, I don't want to waste all the time, money and effort I put into those DMV tests for S and P.
