My truck as built in inverter with ample outlets....in the sleeper. Why on earth did they not put a couple of outlets up front? I had to run a surge protected extension cord up the center and secure it with screws and strap. Looks like hell! Solve that problem!

the question u have ask is actually a trick question to one driver they might want one thing to another driver they might want something dif i dont see the reason to have any glass in the bunk when im in my bunk it is to sleep not look out the windows and have every driver drive by my truck blinding me when im trying to fall asleep plus thats somewere for heat to get in and out the side escape door that i like i hope i never have to use it for that purpose but when loading stuff into the truck its really nice trucks to me are still in the old age of big tvs when now we have flat screens but trucks are still coming out with a place for the big tvs i know i will get some griefe from this but when backing into a tight spot its alot easyer to be able to look out the window and look straight down the trailer not around that bump thats thier when im in my bunk u have air but their is no exaust vent for the people that cook or smoke or just fart we all do atleast one of them but thiers no way to suck the air out plus when its nice out u can roll the front windows down and get a breeze threw the truck so u wouldnt have to idle all the time why waste the money and space to put ash trays in a truck they smell realy bad and i smoke but theirs no way i would use one save the money and put another cig lighter in so we dont have to buy one to plug in that makes it 3

I am also starting on a "Powertrains" trucking assignment in which I have to create a portfolio for three different types of Class 8 trucks and this portfolio will be given to the buyer(teacher). The situations are:
>Long Haul refridgerated truck driving from British Columbia to Onario transporting produce then turning right around to bring processed meat back to B.C.
>A logging truck
> A dump truck doing short hauls only up to 5km to local dump and back again.
What type of engine would work best for each truck?
Would they all be Manual transmissions?
What type of cooling and exhaust systems?
What brand are best rated for good Fuel Economy?
I am very new to anything truck related so any help would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
