yes they will.......need your licence first though.
I hired on to one of those "we'll train ya" companies when I first started out. After only being trained to cheat logs and park after 10 at night, I busted 3 state skills test. I bailed out, went to a tech school to get properly trained, passed with a 98 the first go round and went to Schneider.

Try a private school or another trucking company school.
FFE (Frozen Food Express) - sends Illinois students to Prairie College in Chicago and pays for lodging and meals.
Illinois is the hardest of all the states to pass the skills test. It seems that state hates anyone that wants to work and has a good work ethic because they make the politicians and others look bad.

Sygma Network - hires drivers with only the cdl permit. No classroom; all OJT with an experienced driver. You hire on as a "driver helper" or "driver associate" and run teams. They give you 90 days to qualify for the full cdl.
