I know ill get 5000 answers to this question, but here goes.
On an off highway truck that sits in dirt and dust all day (TMR Feed Mixer Truck). Runs on average 7 hours per day.
Truck is a 96 T800 KW with a 435 N14 Plus, Eaton trans and Diffs.
Using Dino 15W40 in motor
Synthetic 50w in trans
Synthetic 75W90 in diffs
"Green" Antifreeze.
NAPA Gold Filters
Wondering what to use for service intervals on these components. The trucks average speed is very very low. It does see some road time but not much, just a few miles per day. As far as engine speed lots of time spent running around 900Rpm with a slight load (mixing feed). Air Filter gets blown out weekly (flame away), wondering if there is some way we can minimize the amount of dirt getting in there or if we can add a pre filter for cleaning and use the current filter as the safety. I know blowing out air filters causes holes, but dont want to have to replace them monthly. Chassis gets greased weekly
Just wondering what some general intervals would be to go off of for this type of a situation. Looking for the following intervals
Oil, Fuel, Coolant (done at same time).
Trans and differential fluids
Air Dryer Filter
Overhead adjustment
Air Filter (planning on every other oil change).
And if there is anything else I am missing. Thank you.

Trying to keep the air filter clean is a pain on any farm equipment. Lived on a dairy all my life lol, and worked for CAT and now peterbilt and international fixing them lol You can put a screen mess infront of the air intake hole for the air filter to minimize the hay and silage getting into the filter. The best way to blow the filter is from the inside out(reverse air flow)
Oil & fuel every 400 hrs 3 months this would also be a good time to blow out the radiator and stuff.
coolant i would just go to Extended life and then you wont have to worry about it for 6 years and add extender at 3 years.
Trans and diff. fluids I would do every 1500 hrs - 2000 hrs of operation your not getting the temps up in those fluids vs. on highway trucks. Moisture tends to stay in there.

Ok, never, never remove the air filter just to blow it out. Every time you remove the filter and blow it out you will get dust blowing around and no matter how careful you are it will get into the engine. There are lots of pre-cleaners for your filter. I have seen a round sponge type of filter that slips over the main element to catch the larger dirt and dust. This you can slide off and blow out. You can also mount external precleaners to help with the dust too.

K&N makes a washable air filter for trucks. Just Google K&N and find their website. You'll probably need to call a rep, have your stock air filter p/n ready. If you're interested in doing it, you might buy a pair. Swap them out, clean the dirty one and put it up to dry until you swap them again.
Working in dirt and dust is going to cost some bucks in oil changes. A good bypass filtration system might (or might not) help. Gulf Coast makes one, you change out a large filter by hand and top off the oil again. You'll have to decide if it's cost effective or not, it could extend oil drains. Or it could just be an expensive accessory. -
I go 250 hrs on oil, 200 hrs on air cleaner and yearly on trans oil, diff oil, and air dryer. Earlier this year I put a Donaldson precleaner on and it has helped alot with keeping chaff out of the filter. It fit under the hood nicely. I can post some pics up later.

Im from lodi. You know strobels at all? your truck looks identical to the two they have. Ive hauled for them a couple of times.
I do not currently have an hour meter in the truck but will be putting one in. Currently Im thinking about 40 days for an oil change which would be around 280hours or so.
We currently blow the radiator out weekly, and do have a feedlot radiator core to put in it. I dont know if a reversible fan would be worth it, we will have to see how things go, only been running the truck since july, but havent really had issues with overheating. Never had much of an issue with the old volvo feed truck but it only had a 310hp M11.
The screen that kw has over the inlet keeps the big stuff out. For the feed we mix its either over a half an inch or dust. So it does an adequate job in that area. But something more would be nicer.
Some pics of your precleaner and part numbers would be nice kwforage, thank you.
And heavyd, if we never blew out air filters, and just changed them instead we would go bankrupt on just filters. Especially when chopping silage. Two big filters on the chopper, all of the semis, and some of the tractors need the filters cleaned daily. -
Have your oil analyzed when you change it is the easiest way to figure out if your going too short or long on it.

already pulled a sample when i changed it last night with that intentions. Trucks at 720,000 miles.

Check with anyone, blowing out your filters "everyday" will cost you an engine sooner or later! I wasn't trying to be ignorant to you or give you a hard time. I am trying to help you. If you can't take some good, helpful advice and you already have the answers that you want to hear in your head, then why waste everyone's time here and post the questions? If you need to blow your filters out everyday you really need to install a prefilter system for sure. At least install some air filter restriction gauges. They will signal you when they need changing. I don't want to see anyone go broke by over servicing air filters, and I certainly don't want to see anyone loose an engine either!

I'm running a bypass filter. I change it at 15,000 miles and both filters at 30,000 but I run a sample every 15,000 and change the oil when the lab says it's dirty. I changed the oil last time at 160,000 miles even though the lab said it was still good, I just felt bad leaving it in there so long.
It sounds like you could use tighter filtering anyway, I think mine filters down to 4 microns. You probably wouldn't get the same miles on the oil that I do, but with a good sampling schedule, you'll know when and how bad it's getting.
