Shift lights for trucks

    Since most trucks on the road will need to be equipped with telematics equipment in the next few years (as per legislation), are there features that drivers would like to see in these products? They will most likely all provide logistics departments with information on the fuel usage and speed of trucks in their fleet and other things like that. But, are there certain capabilities that drivers might find particularly useful or desirable that may not be on managers' radar?

    Like cat sdp said, tire pressure gauges. Do you know what a hassle it is going around the rig and checking the tp on 18 tires? That's why nobody does it. An axle weight gauge would also be nice. The technology exists, of course, but it needs to be cheap and standard equipment. Like power steering and AC.
