So I'm staying at a hotel. I park the truck along the edge of the lot, and drop my trailer so I can bobtail over to a restaurant. When I get back, I find an empty Landstar flatbed has backed up to within 4 feet of the nose of my trailer. There's no way that I can back under it straight, and there's a fence and a utility pole that the tail will hit if I try to connect at a 90 degree angle and spin it out.

There is a whole empty parking lot where he could have parked, including directly beside my trailer. We are the only two trucks here, he is not staying at the hotel, and he is not in his truck.

This really ticks me off, but should it? It's not something that I would have done; it's just not considerate and he could have parked anywhere else on the lot without any problems.

Either have the Hotel Find him and move his trailer now....
Or block his Trailer with your Bobtail. Lol.

The best course of action is to have hotel management call the customer to move his truck, and then give you a call to let you know when it is moved. It would get the point home without causing a confrontation.

That's the thing - he's NOT staying at the hotel. One of the guests said they saw him park and then shuffle over to the buffet at the other end of the lot.

Funny thing is, his truck would fit in the lot near the buffet, and there's room for him to park it over there. Guess he figured he'd need to walk some of it off later :p
