NFI advertises .40 a mile and $12@stop and no extra pay for nyc on that account. The math doesnt add up to 300 to 400 a day unless im wrong. Maybe just another recruiter lookin for fresh meat
. Do u have any other info to back up the pay? I got that info right from NFI, but i could be wrong. Also, they are advertising pretty heavy for drivers all over the nazareth area and dont seem to be filling the seats. Something doesnt seem right. If anyone wants to find out for themself just call nfi and inquire about the trader joes account.

Yes. It is 50 dollars extra for NYC 25 for Long Island 25 for Philly.I have it on paper.I dont know when you called but they just did this recently. If you call 610-837-1064 ext 105 or 104 they will give the facts. We hired 10 drivers this week. All i could tell you is call them. They wont lie to you.when you say 300-400 a day do you mean pay. If so its wrong.I said its more like 190-220 a day with the extra stop pay and metro pay. But this all depends on how hard the driver works. Some guys like to do 1 run a day and some drivers like to work 12 hours a day doing a combo run. Obviously the combo run is the one where the money is at. Lets put it this way there is not much out there right know anyway.Well good luck to.

What is the health care like at NFI? I am trying to make a decision on who to drive for. Its either NFI or Central Transport. The only thing I really heard about NFI that I don't like is having havin to work a day on the weekend. (trader joes run).

Yea i hear ya on the weekend thing. The problem is trader joes sells so much food that they need a 3 trucks a day.1 fresh 1 dry and 1 frozen. They wont combine the loads they have no problem paying for the transportation on there freight.Lets put it like this no one likes to work weekends myself included. But in todays economy sometimes we have to make sacrifices to pay bills.Anyway dont give up it may work out for you that you get sunday and monday off .You never know.
