Slip Seat Setup

guys, i need some help in decideing what equipment to use. i recently accepted a job with saia doing their system line haul. im going to be out 5 days at a time sometimes slip seating each night. ive got a cobra 29 peaked and tuned and also a galaxy 98 peaked and tuned, both run road king 56 mics. both are very good very strong radios but are set up with the swrs between 1.2 and 1.5. how can i keep the swrs low and have a simple easy to remove setup? how are the zero ground antennas? they have low swrs? can they be tuned? i am looking at buying a vise grip mount from the pilot just b/c they will be easy to remove. also, i need a short antenna, one that can be easily carried since i will be staying in some bunk houses and hotels. ive still got 2 weeks before ill be pulling for them so ive got some time to track down the right equipment so i can have a good setup. any advice will be helpful. thanks in advance guys.
