Smart headlights

    Excuse the handwriting ,. As you know in the last couple of years the headlight laws were changed to allow for adaptive or smart headlights. What I want to know is ? What voice did trucking have in that decision ? I know that trucking isn't 100 percent behind it .

    I'd be happy if we had headlights that turned themselves off when the parking brake is set, since drivers can't be bothered to do it manually anymore.

    As far as industry input into smart headlights, I haven't heard anything about it. The Technology and Maintenance Council's website might have something about it.
