Smart on-board scale?

    Do you actually "need" this. Or is this something that you want, very badly.
    Most tank shippers have scales.
    And there is usally a scale close enough to any other shipper, that you won't have to drive 300 miles to find one.
    Or could a vehicle mounted scale work for you.

    I suspect he needs it and has a sizable fleet and needs to report instant tonnage [estimates] data to clients or customers. Not sure who will pay on that system though as opposed to certified scale weight

    I could see that being the case. But, a certified scale is the only way I would pay, as a customer.

    I just want to have it. I like to monitor all possible stats from trucks.

    Good luck with that method.Nothing beats a 10.00 cat scale and I've only been driving for 22yrs.A lot cheaper then a fine for seat of the pants guessing...
