automatically an outlaw?
i guess the fact that the law doesnt really apply to real world realities doesnt bother to enter into the equation
no, NO ONE SHOULD DRIVE TIRED, NO ONE. but the fact is these HOS rules are impractical
because some of the drivers have learned to jump thru these hoops doesnt validate the law as being sensible, its just that some drivers should moonlight as trained seals on their day offLogan76 Thanks this. -

Me too. After two 13 hour days I about fell over today when I got back and they said to take tomorrow off. Though it's kind of a booby prize since I'm almost assured to be working saturday which means I miss my friends birthday party fri night and another friends cancer benefit on saturday. Oh well it's a job and better than being gone for weeks.
TRKRSHONEY, Dinomite and Logan76 Thank this. -
Gravedigger, just a few short yrs ago, you were digging graves. Then you ventured into trucks, and you have really experienced this biz firsthand. Being a company driver, then O/O and now a local driver. As I always say, trucking IS an adventure. Ya' gotta' love it, right ?
