Another layover day...
Had a load picked up by either an IC or an independent who had the load brokered by SNI. 1300 miles gone and replaced with 65$.
Trying to make the best of a Green Bay brownie...counting jack rabbits and submitting online applications.
Soft market???

Yes Freight has been soft for quite a while now... It is slowly starting to pick back up so it's just not Sni it's across the board that Freight has been soft
-
Wasn't it just said van truckload grew 7.5% in February.
I didn't see it -
I'm seeing a bit of an increase in the board now. Not big, but an improvement at least.
It had gotten to where I was assigning myself a load out of he house before I even got home for fear of not having anything local to pick from.drvrtech77 and TennMan Thank this. -
I am out of MN and I still do that hell I had to book one out of Arcadia Wisconsin just to get out of the house on sat.Knoff1 Thanks this. -
Another message today telling us that the west is very soft...
Last week I should have received 3 days of layover for short miles; so far nothing.
Looks like another thin Friday. -
Maybe should run reefer if you're out west. Van is pretty crappy out there.
-
There is little I hold in lower opinion than grocery warehouses...lumper scams, 6 hr unloads, Nazi apointment schedules that have no flexibility for the driver but can change by days if it suits the receiver.
I'd rather drive a septic pump truck or eat shards of glass than drive reefer.
A dedicated run is starting out of Reno the middle of the month.harlycharly55 and Dogals right foot Thank this.
