Have you ever seen a specialized road going commercial vehicle built from scratch. In order to walk the line of laws I'm working with:
1. Pre 2000
2. 14k gvwr and under truck
3. 10k under trailer
I live in AZ where I can get a VIN assigned relatively easy. The cargo is cargo trailers out of a factory here in town. My fab skills are plenty capable to build the chassis. The cabin would be the space frame enclosed. Why?
1. Pre ELD
2. Under 14k for CA can stay pre emissions
3. Can hire a co driver with class c license.
4. Can set bumper pull trailer on truck deck to avoid CA 55mph tow speed for return trip.
Yes I know insurance might be the trip up. That's why I'm asking if anyone here has seen something this different .
