I hope so, I think I would really enjoy driving. I am working now and the ticket is almost a year old so in 2 more years it shouldn't be a problem with most companies.
Thanks

That I can understand if you are in the flow of traffic. But even then I woudnt be going that much over, In a 55 I might do 60, regardless of everyone elses speeds. They dont like it, they can go around. They arent the ones paying your tickets. And yes Ive driven in Chicago area traffic. As well as Cincinnati, Detroit, DC, Hampton Roads, Jacksonville, Knoxville, and any number of others before. The same still stands.dennisroc Thanks this.

I've driven 55 in Chicago and it's kinda surreal. I plant myself in the right lane and set the cruise for 55. You almost never have to hit the brakes; you are going too slow for cut-offs to have any effect; and it is rather peaceful and zen-like.
Until you come across that other trucker doing 53 and then you're like, 'wth? Who in the heck goes 53?'dennisroc Thanks this. -
That's an everyday thing here in Colorado. Back in Raleigh, the speed limit on the Interstate was 65, everyone wanted to go 90, and traffic ran at 55 because there was so much of it. As soon as I moved to Colorado Springs, I noticed the speed limit on the Interstate was 65, but traffic ran 55 because there was something driving that speed in every lane for whatever inexplicable reason.dennisroc Thanks this.
