Speeding tickets

You're fortunate the speeds aren't listed because 15 over is considered reckless driving which is a killer.

So what speed where you going and what was the speed limit. I understand you ar saying the speed/speed limit are not on the ticket. What is the truth of the situation that got you a ticket. Not telling the truth is not going to get you information that won't help you so please tell the real numbers and not sugar coat the situation, please.

 

speeding tickets are going to keep you from the best carriers. for a while. I think once each ticket is over 3 years old from date on the ticket they become less bad. The industry is VERY slow right now. THERE IS NO TRUCK DRIVER SHORTAGE. Lots of experienced CDL drivers with perfect records are not getting hired right now. PLEASE DON'T GO TO CDL SCHOOL until you FIRST have the trucking company that wants to hire you with your background/MVR. CDL schools will let any student hand them money for a CDL, even if they have things worse than what you describe, and will never get hired.

 

Something tells me we're missing key details.....like was this in construction zones or truly no listed speed limit??

 

Go with a carrier from Craigslist 1099 if you’re lucky. No decent carrier will hire a rookie with a DVR like that. My apologies for being BLUNT.

 

Unreasonable speed violations are issued when someone is going too fast for conditions. Can be issued one for being under the posted speed limit. Like driving too fast on snow covered roads comes in mind.

I had to look it up because I never heard of tickets like that and I was curious.

 

Just shows that they don’t know when to slow down.

Don’t know if it will hurt your chances of getting hired on but if I was looking to hire I’d probably pass.

These are the idiots we’ve all seen in the winter that blow by us in the snow. The ones we know will be unable to stop if they come up on stopped traffic.
