I have a spinner II I took off an n14 then I bought a truck with a 3406e and don't know where to pull the oil from can anyone post a pic?
Look on the passenger side of the motor. Some what behind a little above your oil cooler. Should have a oil psi sensor thier and maybe you oil pressure feed line to ur gadge. Thier should be 5 freeze plugs still unused.
On the N14 there is a compucheck fitting for oil preasure on the right side of the block, towards the back.
I would pull out of the bottom of the oil cooler before I would pull pressure away from the piston squirters which is what that supplies.
Real good point! When my brother gets home I will be more than happy to look and take pics of where his lines hook up. I do know one goes into the bottom of the pan.
If I were going to do one I would hook it up the way my lubrifiner was hooked in, the feed out of the oil cooler near the back of it and drain back into the pan. When I had two turbos on the engine I pulled oil from the large plug near the back of the engine that is part of that rail and I saw a 10 psi change on the gauge just from supplying a second turbo with oil.
