    Hey yall,

Got a bad spring bushing, wanted to get both replaced. Got a buddy in Ky that can get it done, but the dude never has the parts for it. I found the spring bushing kits here in town, but what other parts do I need to have for him to get it done?

'99 Pete 379, Front drive axle.

    Thanks yall.

If he's going to remove the springs,I recomend installing new u bolts and nuts.

If he's using the Tiger tool,he won't need to remove the springs from the axle,so he won't have to remove the u bolts.

Each spring bundle has 2 U-bolts.
You will need 2 for each side=4 total.

I recommend you get them at a Peterbilt dealer, they'll need the Vehicle Identification Number (vin).

Depends what kind of suspension you have maybe. Would assume its low air, all you should need for that is the bushing kit. Comes with bushings and new bolt. I just use the torch to cut the head off the bolt and burn the bushings out. Drive everything out and put in new. Pretty easy job
