    Thanks ip. Btw, can anyone point me to the thread with the packing list? I have boots, jacket, duffel, sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, bag for dirty laundry, gloves, notepad and pens/highlighter. Anything I am forgetting?

    Your recruiter should email you something... go long on extra underwear, not so much on outer wear. Shower clogs unless you have a hankerin' for terminal athelete's foot. There's also a packing list on the site pinned at the top of the newb's forum.

    Bring your stuff in a duffle bag or some sort of collapseable bag. I've got another trainee who has to store his bag on top of his bunk when he's not asleep in his bunk, and an annoying trip hazard in the front passenger seat when he is sleeping in his bunk.
