My husband and I are starting up our trucking llc (just us) in the next 30days. I have a few things to cross off the list.
what is the best , complete, bang for your buck when it comes to consortium? (Planning to do interstate beyond)
I’ve been scouting the web. NationalDrugScreening.com though not local has a program for o/o only at $209 annual.

second, ELDS …. Big country? Expensive but seems well rounded , covers all. Anything comparable or better ?

I’ve used OOIDA’s CMCI for the past 19 years. Must be a member of OOIDA. Well worth the cost. Competitively priced. $200 total if not less. Last I remember $35 annual membership fee and $100-$150 annually for consortium. Very patient and helpful. Made compliance easy. I once forgot to go for a random. They gave me a break, along with a warning not to let it happen again, or face being reported to fmcsa.

Lady that does my D.O.T. Compliance does my drug tests. And I have 30 days to get it done when I get pulled. It’s handy! As far as logs, I run paper as well

For elog i am a fan favorite of samsara.. NO special equipment required. And any 4g tablet running Android works.

I only recently taught myself to use an e log. First time, it’s Samsura, ran it for a week, working local. I unknowingly thought the company required it. Being local, it’s now set on “exempt”. It was very easy to figure out on my own. I use it now only for pre trip and post trip inspection reports. Very convenient. Although it’s the only one I’ve ever used, seems like a good choice.

Is anyone out there local to Wisconsin, using a local c/tpa consortium? I am struggling with this, I don't know why.

Check out OOIDA drug program. I think it is 150 a year or something like that. I have been in it for 5 years or so now and it works pretty good.
