Thanks about 50% will be purchased out of pocket the rest will be financed. I'm not wanting to go big just yet, want to start with around 6-12 trucks an see how things go. I have a lot of thing lined up that seem to be looking sharp. However it looks like the hardest part is going to be to find reliable drivers.

Cheap money is probably going to be a thing of the past. Good luck you're gonna need it.

If you want to make it, there is no real time off for a few years. You gotta be able to provide service that others can't or won't. Hope you have a very understanding wife or life gonna be hell.

You don't want to start big just yet, but you stated you want to start with around 6-12 trucks. Several things wrong with this. 6-12 may not seem like alot of trucks compared to 20-30-100+, but 6-12 is ALOT especially since you are just starting out. Knowing that you have no trucking experience, you would be lucky to even get insurance companies to quote you. You need to have ALOT of cash on hand because fuel, maintenance, and taxes will eat at your bank account quicker than a jack rabbit on a hot summer day.

Good luck to you. Your going to need it. Please post a thread next year, would love to hear what happens.

No matter what you do for a living, every job has its bad days, it has its good days. You need to think of the good days when you are having a bad day. It will end and start one tomorrow. Keep your head up
