Noticed two gashes and a small cut out on my passenger side steer on the sidewall. Getting it replaced now since I have time, not taking any risk and plus Mr dot wouldn't like it if he saw it. Having peace of mind too is worth it, Steer blowout is no fun. Am I being a puss for getting it replaced or rolled on....?? IMG_20160711_063542705.jpg

only from what the picture shows, and it is a poor quality picture at that, i see no reason to have panicked.

I wouldn't call you a puss but there's nothing wrong with that tire.

That barely looks like it scratched the surface.

You're the driver though, you do what you feel is safe.

It's hard to make any determination from the pic, but personally, I don't gamble too much with steers...I've played around with a couple of heifers, but never steers.

I got one like that. When I get up I'm gonna go get the truck n get them both changed. Mine has a little cut dead nuts in the center of the low spot- I'm interested to know if the metal broke or what.

Better find out what caused that wear or the new ones will be junk in a month.
