Hello, I got my cdl 2 years ago and I was trained on an automatic. I really want to learn stick to open up more job opportunities. 2 questions please:
Where to get trained on stick?
Do you need it on your cdl as an endorsement? ( do I need to go to dmv?) Thanks
Stick shift

you will have to take another drive test at dmv to get the automatic restriction removed.
its not an endorsement.
will the company you are at now train you? -

Can you drive a car stick shift?

So um probably like 99 percent of the industry is auto now. In fact I don't even think they produce manual transmissions anymore.. if someone is offering you a manual I would run most likely worse then a Chicago 1099 company
-
They're still making manual transmissions and will be for a loooong time.

Surprisingly I even saw a Turdcadia with a manual today.meechyaboy, RockinChair, Milr72 and 3 others Thank this. -
