Sounds like the op is still a new driver to me. Does he want others to stay steering wheel holders. Or does he want them to grow to maturity and big bank accounts. Does the peanut gallery really need a semon on laziness?

That's what you got out of his thread??????
There was nothing in that thread that would lead me to believe drivers should be steering wheel holders. What I got from the thread is safety advice.

Patty this guy doesn't understand most companies have computers. They can see the drivers logs. They know how many hours the driver has. Most even give them the route. He is overloading the brain with useless common sense stuff. Now I will demonstrate how to make money. Please take note.

You get a load you Accept it, pick it up drive 300 miles call dispatch say you don't have the hours. They relay it with some guy who has a good 1500 mile trip. You switch. That guy does the last 200 miles of your trip. You get your break in and now u have a 1500 mile load. You smiling all the way to the bank baby!!

That's pretty much what I said but far as companies knowing your hours, this may be true but anymore they're all too lazy to look up anything.Drivers need to tell dispatch their hours.

Drivers need to shut up, put the calculator down, and put that truck in motion. Boss man knows best.

most transfers I've done involve dropping an empty trailer and I pick up a loaded, what happens after that is between you and company.
