strange question

It is strange that a driver of one vehicle can pump their own fuel yet another one can't.

A truck driver isn't any more qualified to pump gas than the person driving a car.

It's not like we took a class on how to do it.

 

Apparently you've missed the threads where truckers are putting diesel in the def tank and vice versa. Some of us do need classes lol.

 

The purpose of not filling your own fuel is to provide jobs to those who would be on welfare if a job wasn't available. i would rather my $ go to someone pumping fuel then to someone sitting at home smoking a joint.

 

Yea the last full serv I can recall is the old Bluebird Truckstop in downtown Atlanta many years ago-before 20 even went through Atlanta. Or Leathers out there in Villa Rica, Ga. on 78.
