Just bought a stryker 440 hp this weekend for $25, was put on meter at a shop to see what is was pushing. Was told approx 70 watts, should I get another kicker put on. Was told going to have to get a 300 watt kicker or my radio will blow anything smaller. Everyone on ch 19 says it sounds good. Just wanna be able to drowned people talking over me. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

You made out like a bandit if you really only paid $25 for that radio.
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
A guy was hurting for cash all I had on me was$25 he took it
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
you want double your money back? lol
rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
Some poor driver out there is probably missing his radio.

IF I was hurting for cash, their is no way I would sell my Stryker for a mere $25
rabbiporkchop and Big_m Thank this. -
I got a ranger 99 ill sell ya, do u guys think I should put a bigger kicker on it?
-
You do have a good point, that radio for $25 could be hot.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

The driver could have had a bad habit he needed cash for too.

$25? For a $250 radio??? Yep that thing should be burning your hands it's so hot!
As for your question on the kicker...Any 2-pill or larger Amp would work with it...(250+ watts)
Anything smaller and the Amp would get too hot, too quick and fry...
On a 2-pill size Amp, set-your DK on the radio at 1-2w's and let'er swing...Some Amps can take a higher DK, just depends on the Amp. -
As per my prior post, I bought a 440 hp for $25. It worked fine for 2 weeks, now I cant hear anything. And no one can hear me. Wondering if it could have blown my antenna? Or should I throw it in the garbage.
