    Part of the reason people aren’t going to be interested in anything that takes more than a couple years to pay for itself is the fact that many people don’t keep these newer trucks more than a few years. You can use them as a tax depreciation for 3 years then you about can’t afford to keep them because taxes get higher and upkeep gets higher.

    For 15 years I delivered new trailers from manufacturer to dealer or ultimate customer.
    This trailer was manufactured by Utility, date on the pic indicates 2008 and was equipped with every aerodynamic feature that was available at the time.
    It was a demonstration show trailer that we moved to numerous Utility dealers throughout the country. Not much has advanced since then.
    Show it to your students, perhaps contacting Utility they can be specific about the items installed.
    I picked up trailers at every major van trailer manufacturer in the country. As of 2020, still only half the trailers being sold a had any kind of aerodynamic options on them.
