Well screw it then. Get a copy of your MVR, and start filling out online apps. Be truthful, obviously, and maybe make some follow up phone calls. But heck, it's free, and a bunch of companies all use the same online software, so if you save your 1st form, the next form auto-fills a ton of the next company's form. Seriously, what is there to lose? An evening on the internet is all you'll be out.

You could also try applying face to face with smaller local companies. Just talk your way in, you never know if you don't try.

    eae Thanks this.

    Be afraid. Be very afraid.

And I'd start a new thread if I were you. @Chinatown is done with this thread. There are a lot of opinions about 1099 work, so you may well get lots of replies. You start a new thread, and I'll go make some popcorn.

My insurance agent told me that a (D45?) Failure to appear in court suspension wasn't a big deal. I think you shouldn't have much trouble getting a job.

    Yo OP.

I think its time to pay $8 or whatever for a copy of your dmvr.

Then if you really wanna drive a truck, start calling around and asking different companies if they will take you.

You will definitely find out who will and wont take you that way.

Keep in mind if you got your cdl and dont use it for too long then THAT might be what will disqualify you from some jobs.
