the truck is cali clean air certified. i am not in cali. i am in SC atm its only 50* outside but its 102 in my bunk. i don't think i will be able to sleep till nightfall. but i need another solution in the meantime. this is causing me to not get any rest. and we all know how no sleep and driving 11hours goes :/. but basiclly the truck cuts off after 4 min thus the black prostar starts cooking me like a turkey.

Block the tires and use johnny bar instead of the park brake...?
-
tried it without jonnybar im backed into a curb still cut off

Clean idle has nothing to do with idle shutdown. Blame your company for giving you a truck that shutdowns and doesn't have an APU. Putting a stick between the pedal and seat almost always cancels out idle timers regardless of brakes.

currently have my hammer down on the peddle between the dash and the peddle lol

its stuck at 1000 rpms and still cut off this is inhuman. I'm going into a terminal tomorrow and they need to find a solution for this. i deliver at 6am then im deadheading to a terminal if i have to.

if the clutch is pushed passed the point where it cancels the cruise control it might stop it. Good luck. I have to jonny bar the clutch in my truck.
