Standard house broom works best. Push brooms are useless in a reefer. Screwdriver to pry up broken pieces of pallet. Leafblower is for lazy people. I seen a driver using one in a very dirty trailer and he had dust going everywhere. I charge 15 bucks to sweep out. And believe me theres lots of lazys at a truck stop who will pay for someone to sweep out for them.
Mtn Gal Thanks this. -
IMHO--leaf blower still 2d best way to go...I always leave road side trl door closed..... Blow everything in the direction...and big stuff trapped there¬ out in lot....then dispose of properly.....of course I do Prefer to stand there&have a coffee....while someone else washes it out....lol
Dominick253 and Cranky Yankee Thank this. -

FLATBED and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -
Like mentioned earlier a straw broom works great. I can sweep out my trailer in less than 10 minutes

Last time I was at a carrier dealership they had something called a "reefer sweeper" broom. Basically the bristles were at different lengths to fit into the grooves on the trailer floor....
Dominick253 Thanks this. -
