I'm looking for more information regarding these swift setups. I would love to see more photos if you have them. This is from a picture that was taken back around 2007.

Arizona and California thing, seen some at Phoenix yard many times. Some were loaded up just like the picture with decals removed and looked like they were being sold/traded, don't see them on the road much anymore.
They do have a similar setup for hauling cargo vans from Laredo, still very active. Will see a normal flatbed hauling the smaller truck on top. -
Around what year did you see them with decals removed? The reason I created this thread is because I'm interested in buying a set of those trailers, and as far as I know swift was the only one with the aluminum Ravens doubles. I've called Swifts equipment sales and the guy I spoke with had no idea what I was talking about. He said that there was no record of any ever being sold. He also said the best thing would be if I could get a unit number.. I do know of 1 guy that has a set of Ravens doubles but I'm not sure if they are former swift trailers. I haul hay in Arizona and California and pull doubles, and I would really love to acquire a set of aluminum doubles. Weight is a huge factor for us. I know that the one guy that has them hauling hay his tare is right around 23,000.

Swift doesnt keep any older equipement on their lot over 4 years old. Shouldnt be that hard to find an a train flatbed setup in cali and az

It's not difficult I have a few sets already, I was just hoping to get more information regarding the Ravens that swift had. As far as I know they where the only company to have them. But finding information on them is like finding hens teeth. If they don't keep equipment for more than 4 years is it possible they scrapped them? I have never seen any for sale.D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

They may have sold em back along time ago. Or they could be scrapped or in mexico

It's been a few years back, no good time period I can remember.

Last set of complete flatbed pups i ever seen in the yard was like 4-5 years ago. And they dissapeard.
Swift used to move hay and cotton on them.
Its how the company started actually.
But they haven't used them in so long i doubt your going to find any. -
The use them to move prostar vans from laredo tx to the canada border. Last one i saw was 2 years ago in the detroit terminal where i heard they based some of the drivers.
