1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

hmm yea lets all go sign up to drive a old ragged out Columbia, for .25cpm, tarps tons of cheap freight, and go 62mph! :biggrin_25523:

There are THOSANDS of Flatbed companies in this country that have way better equipment, pay allot more, have faster trucks, and dont suck like swift.

I wouldn't say THOUSANDS, but there are at least a few hundered nationwide that pay better..... Lone Star, Valley Transport, BTC, Maverick, Decker, Boyd Bros, HTI and that's just some of the larger companies. There are easily 20 local companies just here in NWI that I can think of that are better off than SWIFT

Great, thats just great news. Watch the rates drop in the markets they service. More driver who should not be driving a bicycle will be pulling flats now. Hope they do a better job of hireing the flatbed drivers than they do for most of there van drivers.

Well technically we start at .26 cents a mile, we pay for tarping stops ect. Plus we have excellent health and dental benefits.

And we are phasing out the columbias. We are going to Cascadias. We allready put over a hundred on the fleet this year.

    Round2 and sdab3 Thank this.
