While trying to correct spelling and complete previous posts. I had another visitor park directly in front of me on other side of driveway entrance. I decided to pull up and kindly ask for local directions to Walmart. My previous visitor was not helpful. As soon as my headlights came on. They sped up the street and pulled over again. I rolled forward just a few feet and they took off.

I'm aware they are tring to secure your impression of me as paranoid and crazy by cleavorly having me post such things. Give them credit everyone. To use the pen against myself. Very cleavor. So I'll play along.

Visitor two has finally departed. Getting the local directions to Walmart wasn't important enough to stop and go down the street. Besides there is a Kmart around here somewhere.

Sorry. Gonna start trying not to hate every moment antics are used. And maybe open up my social and comedy skills. Trying that lemonade out of lemons thing again. When necessary.

    Growing visitor base. So unfortunate

I was just alerted that I may be able to finally discuss my issues with someone. This very much pleases me. It is the right approach. I'll keep you posted. I haven't formally been asked. Just alerted.

    Former Swift driver.

You can surf through my post history and see the changes in my attitude towards driving for them.

Some of the issues I had with them revolved around where I live. Getting home was a pain in the butt due to not having many customers in the area. I never expected to get home exactly on the day I put in the request for, but more often than not... They couldn't even get me home anywhere within the "ballpark" of my request. When I got close to my HTR date, my miles would fall through the floor because of them having to hunt for the right loads to get me where I needed to go. This had a significant impact on my finances.

I also do not like to be micromanaged. At the time (four years ago), Swift liked to do a lot of that. I doubt they are alone in that regard, however, as I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of large carriers operate in a similar fashion. I did not like fighting with my dispatcher every time I needed to get my truck into the shop to get a DOT enforced issue fixed that I didn't have the tools to fix myself. Seemed like his attitude was that since he wasn't personally at risk of getting a ticket, he didn't care. I didn't like fighting with him over how I wanted to manage my logbook. He treated my log book as it it were his. I actually LIKED dealing with the weekend dispatchers because they didn't give me any crap if I wanted to take a 34 because my log book was looking pretty haggard from running hard.

Swift and I were not compatible. Do I hate them as a company? No. Would I recommend them to anyone looking to get their feet wet in trucking? Depends on whether or not I thought they'd be a good fit there. Some people do well with being micromanaged and live somewhere that getting home wouldn't be an epic pain in the tailbone.

Oh and the alert was not entirely accurate. Hey what can I do? However, it can be assured now from corporate that they are aware of this forum.

I have seen a changing of tactics. What can I do? Adapt and post. More to follow.

Little things. Not really worth mentioning honestly. But I did get more video of vehicles and people doing their 'thing'. What else can I do?

A tactic used by some trucking companies is supposedly referred to as 'Starving a driver out'. Basically you get very few miles or are told there are no trips to give you. That down time is not paid at those type trucking companies. This leads shortly to a driver not getting any paycheck or very little for the few miles offered. Leading to the driver or his or her family under financial pressure to find another job. This the employee quitting.

    Unfortunate still.

    Wow.

I really had no idea Swift would go to such extremes and spend so much money just to keep tabs on a single drivers' activities.
    Shocking, to say the least.

I would agree. After months of issues and trying to get issues resolved. Privacy is any drivers right. They know what happened about a week ago. And at some point I'm merely trying to resolve issues professionally and documenting doesn't work. I had to ask for others input. I'm not on a head hunting mission here. But, as stated previously. Swift has some fine points. I'm big enough to admit that. But when enough is enough when a line wasn't just crossed in an invasion of my personal life. But was antagonized for my lifestyle.

Not able to get a chance to stop that. And even see it broadcast in some posts on other sites. Helps you realize that I couldn't do this alone. Being "outted" is traumatic. So I contacted some gay rights advocates to monitor this thread. To show the extents taken from them. I certainly am disappointed. Embarrassed and humiliated. I have not shared much out here. I assure you mainly your walking into my posted life mid stream. Some of this is difficult to grasp for the average driver.

But allow me to ask. Do you think this thread is now monitored by Swift? It's very likely, right? Why have I still not been given the opportunity to fix this situation in private with them?

The other question is not about me. It's asking how much money will a company spent to keep itself off of the gay rights radar? This isn't all about me. It's just that I've been documenting for months. I'm merely the risk for them. So that is the main question here. And although some earlier posts and YouTube posts have been now removed. Some of the early viewers here got to view some of those extents taken and those 'warnings' I better heed or more of my private life will trickle out from 'somewhere' and 'someone'. Never making it easy to connect anything to Swift. But I have. And hold those few examples I have tightly.

I appreciate your post. And I agree it's difficult to believe. But major companies will pay anything to stay off of the gay rights radar. It was not right what happened to me. And my quest was merely to have my private life not invaded anymore. That would have been the end of it. Apparently it was chosen to continue to ignore little ol' me. No single driver is going to tell Swift what to do. Can't even talk to them. One driver has since reached out to other drivers for their experiences.

To show I'm not vindictive. Periodically, I'm trying to give credit and support to Swift. Still here in this thread. That takes huge willingness to give credit when credit is due. I'm comfortable in this post continuing. It's the only resource I have. So this has little to do with me now. Or, What they did to me. I understand the Swift owner is very religious family. This is something they will answer for between them and their God. I do not believe Swift likes this lifestyle and apply pressure to those that perhaps don't fit their mold. It's sad and unfortunate. I'm sure most have left not wanting to be 'outted'. I just chose to endure for months. Not being intimidated. As the heat was turned up on me continually until last week when I decided enough was enough and reached out to a gay rights society for direction and advice. How sad it couldn't be resolved internally. Since then the antics are making my assignments a problem.

I took to this post as my last ditch effort to shine a light in an otherwise quiet place. There is NOTHING about this that pleases me. I've been humiliated. I made it public because of my personal files and privacy had been compromised. It's traumatic I assure you.

So, that's the long and short of it. I believe this is much bigger than me. Much of this is likely a company quite upset and making their last ditch effort in how to stay off of the gay rights radar. It's all pretty sad indeed.

Mad I sat an entire day waiting to be assigned an empty trailer just so I could go to a shipper to a load. This morning I still have no empty trailer. The two inches of Velcro to fix all my privacy curtains isn't working. I'll have to order privacy curtains because they informed me they didn't have any in stock. And that they had no more Velcro. I asked for refuel authorization yesterday. They did give me fuel authorization here at the terminal. Last night I managed to pump in 00.7 gallons. That's seven tenths of a gallon. I informed them of this and asked for another refuel option tomorrow. It's been about 12 hrs. No response. Those are the only things coming to mind. Aside from my few days being down. My requesting paid for shop status and down. Today wl be my third request. No replies there either. Trust me there's more.

Thank you you for your comment my friend.

Day 2 with no empty trailer and zero communication I believe (now sent four to five time) no replies.

    1. Need to refuel.
    2. Need to order and have installed privacy curtains.
    3. Need empty trailer
    4. A few days off to speak with my family about what was broadcast online from stolen documents.
    5. Paid for days in shop and held up on no empty after assigned load.

No replies at all on four or more requests. Further if you remember I park in an absolute corner of the terminal parking area. Away from everyone. It's fenced off. It's a dead end and usually it's just me. Sometimes one other truck. Tonight there are a total of eight trucks in this pic if it will upload. I doubt it.

I got got out and snapped this type pic. Because they parked so packed next to me I could only open my door half way as to not hit the truck next to me. Just sharing such antics. They give me no place to just exist while they refuse to respond to my requests.

After a full day passed of ignoring me last week. The weekend response was sarcastically asked if I had any more questions or if they could help anymore. After refusing to answer any of my questions. After about 36 hrs of no replies except that. I told them I'd wait until Monday. Until the weekday team came in. I lost three last weekend for these same antics.

Im on day 2 with no empty trailer still. I have about 4 hrs HOS remaining. I've communicated at least twice more today. The sarcastic reply after hrs of waiting? Did you pickup your empty yet? Nice.

so I do what I have to. Document these antics as they continue hourly and daily. Notice the space open on the right of my (purple truck). I am down 2 full days simply for lack of an empty trailer while sitting in a Swift terminal. And surrounded by at least a handful of customer lots. Tomorrow will be day three. I'm expecting late tomorrow they'll send me out for another search for one of their trailers. I've lost the 998 mile trip I accepted and graciously thanked them for. All because I haven't an empty trailer.

I can can merely document and share and continue to endure for day 3.

    Thank you for following along.

Ok . first why are you running out of hours if you are not moving? If you as sitting still you are on sb or offduty. As for empty have you taken initive to find one at some other place and have them attach it to you? Have you just rolled out bobtail to the load area? This job is what you make of it. As for swift stalking you there is no need as every truck has GPS and can be tracked so why follow you? You really sound as if you need to see a doctor.
