I know a werner trainer who switched to swift. all he does it ##### about werner being better...but then, why is he at swift?

trying to pick between two bottom feeders is like deciding whether or not you'd rather piss off a pit bull or swat a hornets nest with a louisville slugger

Although it sucks to sit waiting, I'd have to ask how often you had set, and where you were when you did. Some areas of the country are hard to find loads from. If you just sat the once, and where in a bad area, you need more patience. Trucking sucks sometimes....gotta suck it up and deal sometimes.

I personally would avoid both. I would look Abilene Motor Express, Epes transport, HO Wolding, Wiley Sanders, Schneider National. Even check with Cypress and Maverick. TMC says they are not hiring from your area but could always call and double check. Good luck as their are better options than those two. If it came time to choose which one, i'd have to give some serious thought as to which one I might choose if that tells you something.

I drove for Werner 4 yrs ago for 14 months (96,000 mi) and I know they will let you run 48 if you can run hard.
You might not get the truck you want, they are between 4 and 6 yrs old. I quit because my mother took ill.

96,000 miles in 14 months is not running hard. 135,600 last year and it was easy. C'mon now!

    The Challenger Thanks this.
