SWIFT or WERNER?

Well, over the decades, I have seen a lot of folks get burned by the large carriers. I would only fall back on them if I couldn't get a job somewhere else. Some here have suggested looking at small carriers first. I concur. In fact, I take it even further, I would talk first with local outfits, then the smaller carriers that run your area, and as a last resort look at the big carriers. Trucking is like a marriage. You had better know what you are going to bed with before you say "I do".

Check out Little Guy Trucker Show (Werner) or NanRAdventures (Swift) on YouTube. Either one will depend on your work ethic. If you don't like to be proactive for loads you won't get many miles regardless who you choose. Good luck!

 

Warner has a good o/o program. Both have about the same trucks.
