System runs a yard out of Northbend I think. I know they haul lots of manlifts out of there.

If you do go to work for System and find yourself delivering in SODO on Stacy realize you're parking on a street and not a parking lot so pay attention to how other trucks are going to be able to get around you. I have no problem pounding on a door at 3am.

I read that you don't necessarily want oversize or flatbed. If that's right, try Dedicated Farms out of Blaine, WA. They do local runs from Auburn and Bellevue down to Clackamus. You'd haul bread and soda pop, be home every night, get hourly or run pay (your choice), new equipment, no slip-seating, and bennies from day one. Good company, owners are of eastern descent and have one of the largest foreign owned companies in LA so you can do runs down the I-5 corridor also, if you prefer.
