Does anyone know which wire coming through the firewall Is for the tractor tail lights?? I don't really feel like inspecting the entire harness so I'll just run a new wire

Check the wiring harness on the back frame rail right under the angled metal piece and just ahead of the brake lights , mine has chaffed and had to splice a section in. I think the wiring harness is about $100 or less.

Most of the trailer wiring issues we have had has either been in the pigtail from the tractor to the trailer or underneath the cab, there is a spot not that far from the back of the cab where there are several harness connections, the wires seem to chafe right around those connections. I'll try to get a picture later.
