Jost has been having many disconnect and rocker mount failures. Cheap and weak engineered. They wont recall. Paccar went from Holland to Jost a decade or so ago as oe spec to save $$ and up charges for Holland as special order.mjd4277, Flat Earth Trucker and broke down plumber Thank this.

Look at how ridiculously flimsy Jost landing gear for trailers are compared to Holland made ones as well. Holland and Fruehauf designed and patented the FW35 in 1935 together and it’s still the best one out there.

Traditionally normally aspirated Cummins were the standard engine in Petes NH220/743’s in the 1950’s and NH250/855 in the 60’s up to the time the big cam 290 took over. They up charged on any Cummins for higher horsepower above that turbo charged or super charged. Cats and Detroits were options at a higher cost.broke down plumber Thanks this.

I seem to recall my uncle saying when he ordered my ‘67 originally he paid $300 extra for the NTC335/855. That was the cost of a/c in a car back then. Of course the sales order sheet also shows how the 335 came with twin chrome straight stacks and muffler delete because it was turbocharged. Ain't that way today.
