Kroger DC Houston, Tx. I'm sure this hole has already earned industry wide notoriety but I feel a reminder is in order.
Impossibly tight docks. I waited an hour to get a door and then an additional hour waiting for the two trucks ahead of me to back in. Then it took me half an hour to back in. Not only are the docks unforgiving there are Kroger drivers, hostlers, dudes in golf carts, and pick up trucks zooming around at top speed playing chicken with everyone. They've also got construction going on so add that to the arsenal of fail aligned against you. I wouldn't be surprised if someone has been killed here. 0 F's given by Kroger personnel.
The gate crew are meaner than polecats. Job satisfaction obviously nonexistent. Have you ever been here before? No, I have never been here before. Mumble, mumble, mumble. I could not hear that woman as she mumbled her instructions from within her glass and aluminum castle. Could you repeat that? I SAID..hostility intensified!
Receiving goons. Capstone lumpers. Dude glances at my bills and informs me that I'm prepaid and therefore I'm going to be here a while. I thank him for his honesty and tell him to take his time because I'm out of hours anyways. He smiles and replies that it will be about 10 before I'm unloaded. Could care less.
On the old scum scale of receivers the 1 being best to 10, being the worst; Kroger DC Houston scores a solid 8 primarily because of the hostile gate keepers and 3 ring circus going on around the dock.

The very last time I wax ever there, 2 local cops come slowly down the row of trucks at the dock. They stopped at the swifty down at the far end from me. They get out, he gets out. He clearly isn't happy about something but hard to tell what's going on. About 15 minutes into it he gets cuffed and leaves in the back of one of their cars.
Thankfully with the gig I have now I'll never have to see that place again. -
Espanyoo's come and go before I finally raised enough hell to get unloaded. I haven't been back. -

M. Price Distributing in Hampton, Va. They're an Anheuser Busch distributor. I arrived on time for my appointment and was unloaded within 45 minutes of arriving. Unfortunately I had to wait every bit of 1 and a half hours just for them to sign the paperwork.
I pull a reefer so I'm used to ridiculous wait times. What really grinded my gears about this was what I found out was the reason why I had to wait so long for the paperwork..... The guy who signs the paperwork was in a meeting.
Apparently nobody else in the entire place can sign anything. I can only assume if that guy is out sick or goes on vacation that no deliveries take place. -

Jerome Cheese, up there with Walmart, and Bashas. I'll be lucky if I don't run out of hours. They are slow! Don't get here ahead of your appointment time. Won't do any good.
