They made it right.

I saw a Craigslist ad offering the sun, moon and stars so I called up. They asked what I was looking for and I answered I needed to go where the money was. Mind you, I'm not greedy. A guy gets used to making a certain income and the job may fizzle out but the bills keep coming. They're telling me I need to go local intermodal. Over $80.000 yr plus a 4500 sign-on bonus. $1000.00 minimum per week. OK, after several hundred dollars of drug tests and two weeks of bogus training I get an $800.00 paycheck. I follow up and find out I'm not getting the bonus. I call another recruiter offering even more and tell him my situation. He sez I need to talk to my recruiter. I told him it was like getting customer service at AT&T and I had to wait for him to stop laughing. He tells me to go to my driver manager.
And as if I hadn't. This guy knows very well I'm needed at those railroad yards and it's either that or the hard goodbye.
