thinking about jumping ship

    im working for swift now tired of getting passed by yall us xpress drivers:biggrin_25514:. i just turned in a online app. with us xpress. i drove for them in 04 left on good terms wanting to go back, my question is if you hire on as a experience driver do they make you team for six months?. and i dont know about this company but swift has been telling me the last couple of weeks that frieght is very very slow right now. how many miles are yall getting a week. thanks for any info reds10

    well finally did it i start orientation next monday nov. 22 at tunnel hill anybody else going on the 22nd?

    well thought i had everything took care of for orientation but i was wrong got a call this morning and was drilled for bout 30 mins on my past work history and social life lol. but thats good their checking it out now and not waiting till i get there and saying no you dont meet requirements and send me home. if i hear anything else ill be sure to post while at home and durning orientation. keep safe reds-10

    I can just imagine what they asked you about your social life. Lets see your are from Bama so I figure a couple of the questions were like. So how do you actually feel about your sister, and is your uncle and daddy the same person.:biggrin_25523: Good luck on the new adventure. Hey didnt you just recently start at Swift, what happened for you to jump ship??

    ive got one thing to say about the bama thing war eagle that was sweet last weekend.:biggrin_255: swift just wasnt for me i dont have to many complaints about them the pay was there every week i didnt give them no problems and they didnt give me any. just felt like it was time to move on, i was just tired of getting passed by everbody:biggrin_2559:

    had to call and set up my orientation for the 22nd today and they said everything looked good and they would see me monday and when i get there sunday to the motel to come to the terminal and do my road test. seems kinda weird but im thinking its gonna to be a big orientation class coming in

    Congratulations to you!
    What did you find out about going with a trainer? I don't think you mentioned how much experience you have but I would think once you're done with orientation, they'll hand you the keys to your own truck.

    Let me know how it goes I am most likely going to us xpress it was them or tmc and I think I'm going with us xpress. Graduate monday.
