Has anyone ever heard of a central vac system for trucks? My parents have one in their house and it's awesome, sure would beat the hell out of lugging the Shop-Vac up into the truck to do a cleaning

Just mount a small shop vac under the bed and plumb it in by drilling a hole and mounting a fitting for vacuum hoses Even a remote switch is as easy as plugging it into a power switch with a switch on it.

They do make ones for RV's, but it's quite an overkill.

Couldn't find anything on Google. Might adapt one made for a house and run it off an APU.
Couldn't find anything for RV's either. Maybe check with an RV dealership and ask if they've heard of one.

The man that started Blue Beacon, sold portable truck vacuums, before he started the Beacon. I just read this somewhere?

That's good, until you get the fine dirt that's like powder. All one manages to do then is make a dust cloud that settles on everything.

A guy on the side of me in the truck stop just used one to clean his truck out. All I thought it did was more evenly distribute the dirt around the cab.
