Like borrowing your mortgage payment, pay it, and then borrow it again. You're only borrowing 30-40 days operating cost over and over again.

Looks like stacking the deck in your favor is a norm, after all. Free market talk is one big Horse Manure. So is predicting what this or that measure/regulation will do in the long term. Sometimes, it is better to find a quick fix than to overanalyze. This price fixing allegation in the article might have not been as easy, had there been rate transparency.

Therefore, whatever there is available to cumber the middleman, I'd vote for.

I look at brokers as medical leeches. Parasites but not quite. As a matter of fact, as long as you don't give them free reign, they are quite a necessary utility for small carriers and independents. The nature of the leech, however, must not be overseen.

There is zero doubt brokers are taking far more money per load. However, with their load volume way down, I have no doubt they feel pressure to get more profit per load to keep their own bills paid. It’s not easy for anyone. Brokers are businesses too, not the boogey man that some think.

The situation sucks for everyone.

 

Factoring are medical leeches too. Pluck them ######## out when it is time. It won't hurt to have them in a jar.

 

I know, so was i. Just another example about those who complain what someone else makes. They will spend money to have someone do everything except drive.

 

I look at it this way. When a man wants to marry a woman, he, in a course of nature, would want to see her naked first.
