Naaaa. Everyone has those days where they sit for days on end waiting for the lawyerspeaks to communicate. My last episode was in Maryland. On I81 when you cross the PA-MD line, southbound, they have a gigantic pull off area marked Oversized Only.

If you get out of your truck, and walk back up the on ramp, cross the bridge and go into the little town, there is a deli there where they will cook you food. When you know everyone in a little town and people start offering you ride, you've been sitting there for days.

When they put a big parking area on a state line, they are notoriously slow.

My gut says in a few years I'll have a lot of....interesting....stories. Even if I have to wait out statutes of limitation to tell them publicly lol

I believe that is going to be a state by state basis and only on state roads. Montana has a pretty good list of low bridges. I think you get something with your Idaho permits but that had been a while for me.

    Hear, hear!

That's why, at the end of the day, I want to get out of the truck, eat hot food with a fork, and have an adult beverage served by a cute waitress. I will reward myself for a good day on the job.

I'm usually one of the late arrival crowd at the truck stop so I grab and go but seein as how I'll be starting and finishing my day a lot earlier I'll be hanging at the counter more often. Actually look forward to it. Hopefully I bump into some of y'all because everybody on this side seems pretty laid back. So far haul hand is the only one I've knowingly met but I'll be lookin.
