I have flatbed job offer but I'm kind of worried about the tarps. I had back surgery three years ago , fusion L4 L5 S1. It bothers me quite a bit. Any body in the type situation please give some input on it , any help would be great.

Sometimes have to put a 100lb tarp up on a 7' crate without a ladder. I'm 40. That's real fun. Can you do that with a weak back?
I'd try pneumatic or liquid tank if I wasn't. -
I'm 54.."Funner" (is that a word) yet. Really O.P. my back is going bad and I would advise against it..unless someone can come up with some kind of idea for you which makes sense.Like maybe sign on with someone who only has conestoga trailers..I may just do that myself.

It's not the tarps so much as throwing chains/straps. You need to be nimble. Pulling down on a binder will put your back to test. Mostly tarps are put on top by a forklift driver, you then roll them and secure them. Most any truck driving position will require stooping/twisting/climbing/squating.
Streamer Thanks this.
