The other day I stopped at a loves in Dallas on south Polk street I 20 exit 466. What a cluster ####. The street that had the entrance had trucks parked on both sides, and the right side of the driveway was blocked off for construction and on my left I had a van to avoid hitting as I pulled in. Not to mention there was only 10-15 parking spaces and from the entrance I would have had to blind back in without looping around the lot. Even a straight back would have been difficult with the lines at the pumps directly across from parking spots. I parked next to the cat scale for my 30 minute break. Only reason I stopped there was cause I was almost to my 8 hour
limit. Getting out wasn’t any easier as I had to back up a little to go around a truck in front of me and I had another truck on my left. When they say everything is bigger in Texas I know they’re not talking about this truck stop.
Tiny loves in Dallas avoid!

Half of the trucks you see there today, will be there 2 days from now. But the nearby alternatives, while much bigger, aren't much better.

I don't know of any decent truck stops within 50 miles of DFW. The ones on I-20 in South Dallas are like going to a third world country.

Truck stops in Dallas? Wow you chose a hell of a spot to take a thirty min break. Every truck stop in DFW is always a cluster. I do like the one in Fort Worth on 35W, I think it's exit 154. They have tasty burritos
