Since I will be heading west and noticed CO has a chain law in effect (already...) I need to pickup a set of tire chains.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a decent priced source?

I guess I will check with TruckPro - they were on my list. -
I'd hate to replace what's on my truck.
2 1/2 sets of singles and a set of 3-bars. -
Every year...Sept 1, "chains in possession"....that means everywhere in CO.....don't get caught without em!!!!
-
Yea, thats kinda the idea here...
otherhalftw and MackDaddyMark Thank this. -
It's only actually enforced on I70 from Morrison(mm259) to Dotsero(mm133). -
When you go out west, look for a Les Schwab tire center, thats where I got mine, cant remeber price but it was the best around at the time
Hanadarko Thanks this. -
it's only enforced if you're caught with nothing on and your supposed to have em on.
they won't just pull you over and check. unless you give them a reason to pull you over for an inspection.
i've gone through a couple of times. but luckily it wasn't snowing at THAT time. -
Sometimes they will check for them when you roll thru the scales at Downieville.
