Extremely unlucky today with wait time on loading and unloading . While the forklift guy was putting last piece on my trailer he pinched the tire on the outside wall of the trailer..im sure it will hold the air but dot wont approve it . Manager showed up and became tire expert in no time and telling me no problem blablabla ... I insisted to have it in writing ... Waiting on him to come back ...
Any thoughts ?

I'd say I'm not moving till it's replaced, on their dime.not worth risk of blowout or DOT action
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -
It’s questionable..... I guess. I’d demand a replacement.

Did he hit the tire with the fork or just bump it with his tire or bottom of the boom ...?
FlaSwampRat Thanks this. -

If you can pry it apart and see steel bands exposed it will probably fail an inspection. If not, you're good....
PE_T and FlaSwampRat Thank this.
